Custom photo booth software, down to the last button

Every screen a guest sees is a canvas you draw on. Every filter, font, message and print design is yours to change tonight, not to request and wait for. Your booth should not look like everybody else’s booth.

Everything on this page works in the unlicensed download. The only difference is a watermark on the photos.

Custom photo booth software starts with a blank screen

Each screen is a 1920 by 1080 canvas, the front face of the booth. Drag a rectangle to make a button. Drop in a live camera, this session’s strip, or the moving picture for a GIF. A QR code, a guest form, a countdown and a sponsor logo are elements too. Layers keep buttons above pictures, while snapping, guides and a sixteen pixel grid keep the whole thing tidy.

Filters and AI

Ten looks built in, and the AI prompts you write yourself

The built-in filters are Original, Black and White, Vivid, Sepia, Golden Hour, Frost, Faded Film, Noir, Soft Light and Candy Pop. Switch one on, point a button at it, and the look is applied as the photo is captured. So the strip, the print and the copy that gets sent all match. That is not true of software which filters at print time only.

AI filters are simply a prompt you write. A fairytale princess in a pastel castle, or a vampire at midnight, keeping the face recognisable. You bring your own API key and pay the provider their few cents per photo. Then set a spend cap per event and per day, so a busy Saturday cannot surprise you.

Session

What a guest can make, and how it feels to make it

Studio plays the run back as the guest will live it. Countdown, shot, review, countdown, shot, review, countdown, shot, check. That comes to roughly eighteen seconds from first countdown to last shot. It is the number that decides how long your queue gets.

Look and feel

Custom photo booth software down to the keyboard

The touch keyboard and the number picker are panels the booth lays over your screens. Most software treats them as untouchable. Here they are yours: font, key size, corner radius, key and text colour, the background behind them, the prompt and the typed-text box. The preview uses the same code the booth does, at panel scale. What you approve is what a guest gets.

The microsite follows the same theme. That is the page a guest lands on from a text message or a QR code. It carries your logo, your colours, your blocks, and only what you choose to show.

Print

Print designs that match the paper in the printer

Classic strip, Princess, Collage, each on its own button, with a default for when a guest chooses nothing. The strip builder draws the dotted line where the printer actually cuts. A pair of two-by-six strips on a four-by-six sheet then comes out as it looked on screen.

Delivery

Your words on the text, the email and the notice

Text goes through Textbelt, email through Brevo, and a QR code over the venue wi-fi costs nothing at all. The message, the subject line, the body and the on-screen notice are yours to write. The link, the event, the date and the guest’s name drop in for you. A button whose channel cannot send is hidden on the booth rather than shown broken.

Studio previews the text and the email exactly as the guest receives them, phone and inbox. Nothing about custom photo booth software should stop at the cabinet door.

Portable

Custom photo booth software that travels between machines

Photos, kept your way

Every session saved on that PC, for as long as you say, named how you like. Delete automatically after a day or keep the lot. Prefix, sequential numbering and one folder per date.

Cloud you own

Lasting photo links, the monitor page and the microsite run from your own Cloudflare R2 bucket, at roughly 11 MB a session. Untick anything you would rather not send. We never hold your guests’ photos.

Profiles

A profile is the whole booth in one file: screens, strip designs, pricing, delivery and hardware. Duplicate it for a new venue, export it, or import it on the next machine.

Questions

Questions about customising the booth

No. The profile is the same file before and after a licence. Activation changes one thing only, which is how the finished photograph is watermarked.

Yes. Add a font file under Look and feel or Session. It is then used on the keyboard, the number picker and the countdown as well as your screens.

1920 by 1080. Stills as JPG or PNG, animated screens as MP4 or GIF. The profile then stretches to whatever panel you set under Display and Booth.

Export the profile and import it on the next machine. If that camera does not offer the same capture modes, the booth falls back to an automatic choice rather than refusing to start.

Yes. The watermark goes on the finished photograph, after any filter and after any AI transformation. There is no route around it.

Yes. Bookings, event start screens and per-event designs exist for exactly that. An event carries its own look without disturbing the venue profile underneath. The rest of the product sits on the main software page, and the payment side is under photo booth payment software.

One caution worth stating plainly. Deep customisation is a trap when it becomes the work instead of the product, and operators lose whole weekends to it. Agencies selling custom photo booth software as a bespoke build tend to charge for the privilege, as agency pricing for custom booth builds shows. Our answer is to hand you the tools and a working default. You change the four things your venue cares about and leave the rest alone. If you would rather see the whole product listed out, that is the photo booth software features page.

Build one screen badly on purpose tonight

Drag a button over the live camera, push a QR box off the edge, and watch the editor flag both. Then build the real one. Nothing you make is thrown away when you buy a licence.
