Vertex Vending Group is a photo booth vending company based in South Florida. I build photo booth vending machines and place them in the busiest venues in the region at no cost to the owner. I have been around events since I was 14, and I came down to Florida to study at Nova Southeastern University.
Thomas Steckman, founder. I head the operation with a close-knit team of technicians keeping the booths running.
Vertex Vending Group LLC is a Florida vending company founded in Davie in March 2026 by Thomas Steckman. We build, place and operate photo booth vending machines under our consumer brand, SmileMore Photo Booths, and we develop VertexBooth, Windows software for photo booth operators.
Every booth we place carries the SmileMore name. Guests know us as SmileMore, and venues sign with Vertex Vending Group. Same company, same team.
VertexBooth is our Windows photo booth kiosk software, offered to other operators who run their own machines.
Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, with our first placement live at Nova Southeastern University since August 2026, plus Ontario, Canada through our rep Ron Shteiman.
My journey to building this brand started with a no.
Early in 2025 I was walking into venues around South Florida pitching a partnership for my rental business. One manager stopped me and said they already had a photo booth. It was not the kind I was pitching. It was a photo booth vending machine: permanent, self-serve, running on its own.
I kept pitching anyway. I got turned down.
It clicked on the drive home. Venues do not want to book entertainment and then market it. They want something fun already sitting in the room that guests use on their own.
And I knew I could build a better one. Years around photo booths had taught me what people actually want out of them. Not a plain box in the corner, but a booth people remember, under a brand they recognize.
Three things, and we handle all of them. Your venue handles none of them.
We design and assemble our booths in-house instead of reselling someone else’s hardware. If something needs to change, we change it.
No purchase, no lease, no install fee. We deliver, install and brand the machine to fit your room. You provide the floor space and power.
Servicing, restocking, repairs, software, guest support. It stays our job after install. You are not running a photo booth.
