Drive Federal Highway from Dania Beach to Pompano and you pass the whole Fort Lauderdale vending market in forty minutes. A Pepsi-branded drink machine outside a tire shop. Then a glass-front snack unit in a gym lobby, and a smart cooler in an office park in Cypress Creek. Every one of those was placed by a vending machine company in Fort Lauderdale that you have never heard of, under an agreement the location owner signed once and forgot.
If you are the owner looking for one of those companies, this is the map. Who is placing what in Broward, how the arrangement works, how to choose between them, and the one category of machine none of them will bring you, which happens to be the one we build.
The Fort Lauderdale vending market, by type
Local operators sort into a few kinds. The names below are companies that publicly advertise placements in Fort Lauderdale as of September 2026. I have no relationship with any of them, and this is not an endorsement, just a description of what each says it does.
| Type | What they place | Local examples | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full-line snack and drink | Branded drink machines, glass-front snack units, combo machines | Culinary Ventures Vending (Pompano Beach), Loyalty Vending (Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade) | Offices, gyms, schools, warehouses |
| Independent local route | Snack, drink and combo units with touchscreen and tap payment | Prime Coast Vending (Plantation), covering Davie, Sunrise, Weston, Hollywood and Pembroke Pines | Smaller sites a national route skips |
| Micro market and smart cooler | Unattended kiosks with open shelving and self-checkout | Century Vending (statewide, 30+ years) | Offices of 100 or more, hospitals |
| Fresh food | Refrigerated meals and mini marts | Icebox Pantry | Large workplaces with no cafeteria |
| National placement brokers | Match your site to an operator, take a fee from the operator | VendingExchange and similar | Anyone who wants three quotes with one form |
| Entertainment and attraction | Photo booths, built and serviced by the operator | Vertex Vending Group (Davie) | Bars, restaurants, campuses, hotel lobbies, venues |
Notice what the first five rows have in common. They all sell convenience. That is the business the words “vending machine company” describe to most people, and it is a good business. It is not the only one.

How placement works, whoever you call
Every vending machine company in Fort Lauderdale runs the same basic model. They own the machine, they deliver and install it, they stock and repair it, and they pay the location a commission on sales. You supply the space and the outlet. The Florida sales tax on what the machine sells is the operator’s responsibility, not yours.
The differences are in the details. How long the agreement runs. Whether it renews automatically. How fast they answer a service call. Whether you get a statement you can check. I went through those clauses one at a time in what to read twice in a vending machine placement agreement, and the list applies to every operator in Broward, us included.
What to ask a vending machine company in Fort Lauderdale
- Where is your nearest route? A truck based in Pompano reaches Las Olas in twenty minutes on a good day. One based in Miami does not. Service time follows geography.
- What is your minimum? Most snack operators want a headcount or a daily traffic figure before they place. If your site is under it, ask whether they will place a smaller machine or decline politely.
- What does the statement look like? Ask to see a sample. A processor export with a date range beats a typed total.
- Who answers on a Saturday night? For a bar or a restaurant, that is the only service call that matters.
- Can the machine carry my branding? Snack machines usually cannot. Ours are built to order, so the answer for us is yes.
If your room is a bar or a dining room rather than an office, one more question belongs on the list. Do you want a machine that feeds people who are already there, or one that gives them a reason to get up from the table? Vending machines for bars ranks the options on exactly that line.
Based in Davie. Placing in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach.
Vertex Vending Group builds permanent photo booths and places them in South Florida venues at no cost to the location. The machine arrives wrapped in your branding, takes card payment on its own, and prints strips with your name on them. Send us the address and a photo of the wall.
Why Fort Lauderdale is a good room for an attraction machine
Greater Fort Lauderdale hosted more than 20.9 million travelers in 2025, and hotel occupancy in March 2026 hit 85 percent at an average daily rate of $240.49, according to Visit Lauderdale. Port Everglades moved more than four million cruise passengers the same year. A large share of those people end an evening on Las Olas, on the beach strip, or in a hotel bar.
None of them needs a bag of chips from your lobby. What a visitor wants is proof they were here, with the people they came with, and something to take home. That is the gap a snack operator cannot fill and the reason we build what we build.
Our first placement is not in Fort Lauderdale. It is fifteen minutes west, in the University Center lobby at Nova Southeastern University, where guests paid for upwards of 300 sessions across the opening four weeks. The account of that install is in our NSU launch post. Fort Lauderdale proper is where we want the next one.

Common questions about vending companies in Fort Lauderdale
How do I get a vending machine in my Fort Lauderdale business?
Call two or three of the operators above, or use a placement broker to get several quotes at once. Expect questions about headcount, opening hours and foot traffic. If you want an attraction machine rather than a snack unit, contact the operator that builds them directly.
Do vending companies in Fort Lauderdale charge to install?
Not under the standard placement model. The operator carries the machine, the install and the servicing, and pays the location a commission. If a company asks you to buy or lease the machine, that is a different arrangement and you should treat it as one.
How long does a vending machine installation take?
Once the agreement is signed, most snack operators deliver inside one to two weeks. Our booths are built to order with the venue’s branding, so the wrap adds time, and we tell you the date before you sign.
Does Vertex place machines outside Broward County?
Yes. We are based in Davie and place across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. Our permanent photo booth installation page sets out what we need from a venue anywhere in South Florida.
Which of these companies should you call? For an office, any of the first four rows will serve you well, and the one with the closest truck will serve you best. For a room where people come to have a good time, I would ask a different question first: what do you want the machine to do for the room? When the answer is more than “sell drinks”, call us.
