Breeze is good software. If you are running Breeze Booth for Windows, better known as Remote Pro, you already have kiosk lockdown, MDB payment, multiple printers and years of stability behind you. So the honest version of this page is not that you should switch. It is that there is now a Breeze Booth alternative that costs $99 less. It also lets you test a real unwatermarked license for $35. Moreover, it does one thing Breeze does not do at all.
That thing is AI photo filters. Everything else here is detail.
What Remote Pro already gets right
Any comparison that opens by listing a competitor’s failures is selling something. Remote Pro is a mature product and it earns its $349. The feature list is genuinely deep: lockdown mode with a password-protected exit, auto-start on launch, MDB payment systems, Nayax VPOS, QR payments through Breeze Cloud, custom print layouts, and both slideshow and burst GIFs. Canon bodies and webcams are supported alike.
It also supports multiple printers on one machine, which VertexBooth does not. If that is load-bearing for your setup, stop reading and keep what you have. We would rather lose the sale than have you discover that in week two.
Where VertexBooth is actually different
AI filters, with no middleman
A guest picks a look on screen and their photo comes back transformed. A vampire, a knight, an oil painting, whatever the prompt says. The original is kept alongside it, so nothing is lost if the guest prefers the plain shot.
However, the part that matters commercially is who holds the account. You open one with Google, OpenAI, fal, Replicate or Black Forest Labs. Then you paste a single key into Studio and pay that service directly, at roughly three to seven cents a photo. We take no cut and add no monthly fee. Per-event and per-day caps bound the spend. Besides, if a call fails the guest still gets their photo rather than an error screen.
The price, and what you risk to find out
VertexBooth is $250 once, at an early access price that stays yours for as long as you use it. Breeze is $349 with twelve months of updates. That gap is real but it is not the interesting part.
The interesting part is the trial. Breeze gives you a watermarked demo. We sell a genuine sixty-day license for $35, with no watermark and no card on file. Therefore you can run it at actual paid events, on your own hardware, before deciding anything. You can also simply download it free and run the whole product watermarked, indefinitely, with no account at all.
It updates itself, and never mid-event
Breeze includes twelve months of updates. VertexBooth installs them for you. The booth checks on its own and offers the new version on its idle screen. Then it waits. Nothing installs while a guest is part-way through a session, and nothing installs during a booked event, even a fix marked required. Your profiles, designs, settings and photos are never touched by an update.
For a machine sitting unattended in a lobby three towns away, that difference is worth more than the $99.

Three-year figures assume one machine and no price changes. Simpler software exists, some of it costs less, and so does software with more features than we have.
Designing screens without config files
Both products let you build the guest journey. The difference is how it feels on a Tuesday when you are changing a screen for Saturday.
In VertexBooth every screen a guest sees is a card in one grid. Each carries a live thumbnail and a plain sentence saying what leads where. Open one and you get a canvas. Drag across empty space to draw a tappable button. Drop the live camera view on it so guests can see themselves, or the finished strip, or a single shot from this session with a retake button over it. Move things, resize them, done.
The strip builder works the same way, and it draws the dotted line where the printer will actually cut the sheet. That single detail has saved us more paper than any other feature we have shipped.
Who should stay with Breeze
Buy Remote Pro instead of ours if any of these is true for you. Deep per model camera coverage is the clearest one, since Breeze publishes a seventy row Canon table and we lean on the SDK instead. If you shoot with a Sony or Nikon body, we now tether both, in beta rather than proven. Video capture is another gap, because we do stills, GIF and boomerang and nothing else yet. Finally, you may simply want the product with the longer track record. That is a reasonable thing to want when a machine has to work unattended at a paid event.
We are early and we say so. That is a real cost to you and pretending otherwise would waste both our time.

Questions operators ask us
Can I run VertexBooth and Breeze on the same machine?
Yes. They are separate installs and neither knows about the other. Most operators evaluating us keep their existing software on the machine while they test, which is exactly why the sixty-day license exists.
Does the AI need an internet connection at the event?
Yes, for the AI filters specifically. Everything else runs offline. If the connection drops mid-session the guest still gets their plain photo, because a failed AI call falls back to the original rather than failing the session.
What happens to my license if you raise the price?
Nothing. The $250 early access price is locked for as long as you use it. That is the deal for buying while we are still early.
Is there a per-event or per-session fee?
No. One machine, unlimited sessions, unlimited profiles. The only per-photo cost anywhere is what you pay your AI service directly, and only if you switch the AI filters on.
How do I move my screens between booths?
Export the profile to a file and import it on the other machine. A profile carries the whole booth, screens, strip designs and artwork included, so a second machine can be a copy of the first in about a minute.
